Sorry, I’ve had a lot of requests to shut the fuck up about my repo and talk about my life, even though my life is rather boring, I suppose it’s as interesting as it’s ever going to be right now.

Long story short, her name’s jaymee.

She’s just…wow. She’s 15 in like…a week nearly. I can’t describe shit, so I won’t.

Other than that, I haven’t even seen my repo in like a month. I’ve had lots of requests, but from what I’ve heard it’s still working. I might complete all my requests soon, it’ll take a while, I get a new request every day nearly and I’ve been busy…

Just updated my repo with a few requests. I’m starting to think some people are actually using my repo, which is kinda cool. I’ve got 10gb bandwidth, so hopefully that will hold (it should). It’s gonna be sad if I get too many users cos I won’t be able to keep the repo running.

So yeah. I’ve got +5 rep from the topic about the repo on iPod touch fans , and a whole lot of “yay for you” comments and game requests. So I think I’m doing ok.

If I end up getting kinda popular, then…I dunno. I could shove some ads on this blog, I suppose. After all, it’s where all “More Info” pages link to, because I can’t be bothered making real “More Info” pages. Hm.

Anyways, still on the topic of my repo, I’m loving Ubuntu. The FTP client is so win. It’s quick and it’s not bulky. I just drag and drop stuff. Zipping files is really easy and quick and it zips mac readable stuff too!

However, I still can’t get my iPod to mount. Or to connect through SSH. Which is fail. It just doesn’t connect. I’ve tried several SSH client, I’ve tried going to “Network Servers” and clicking iPod touch, but it just doesn’t connect. But hey, I can run repos. If I want something on my touch, I’ll just make a package etc etc.

Anyways, I’m out.

Well, a little while after I made my last post, Ubuntu is going strong. I’m using it a fair bit now, more than I’m using Windows, and I’m loving it. My iPod touch and Ubuntu hate eachother, but yeah. Windows can handle my iPod stuff.

And, World of Warcraft. I once swore in Guild Wars that I would never play World of Warcraft, but a former Guild Wars player said “It’s kinda like Guild Wars, but it has more fun PvE and a more balanced PvP”, so I’m trying it out.

I’ve ordered the World of Warcraft Battle Chest on eBay, which is WoW, the Burning Crusade expansion, and strategy guides for them both, which is cool. Until it arrives, I’m going to be finished the patch downloads (only 900mb to go) and play around with a 10-day trial. So yeah.

Also, my repo has changed. Now, I’m running 2 GBC repositories, one for iPod touch/iPhone firmwares 1.1.1/1.1.2 and one for 1.1.3/1.1.4. The 1.1.3/1.1.4 repository is the original one (http://gbc.890m.com) and the 1.1.1/1.1.2 repository is new (http://gbc.890m.com/old.xml).

Anyways, a member of iPod touch fans has requested a few ROMs, so I’m off to work on that.

Yes, I’ve had a lot of trouble with Ubuntu and Linux in general, but now my problems seem to be over. The latest release of Ubuntu, version 8.04, fixed all my driver problems, fixed partition errors, and is going great. I’m writing this on the Live CD, while it’s installing. It’s sort of like Ubuntu before, but now it’s like “ZOMG I HAS INTERNET”. So, yeah, yay for me.

In other news, I got into [M]inistry CoD4 clan. They’re 18th on the GameArena ladder, which is pretty cool. I went to training on sunday night, and it was a lot of fun. So yeah. Oh, and my Steam account won’t log in. So I can’t play Counter-Strike no more. Yeah.

Sorry, I haven’t posted in a long time. I’ve been pretty busy being a dickhead. The reason I’m posting is because I have something to post about.

Firstly, I’m quitting Guild Wars, simply because it’s gay. PvE is so boring, as much as I was a supporter of Ursan, now it’s just blown out of proportion. PvP is just too defensive, and only balanced shit works now. So, I’ve uninstalled, gg.

Secondly, my iPod touch. My repo (at rusty.890m.com/repo.xml) is changing from GBC games ported for gpSPhone to GBC games made to run on gb4iphone, due to ZodTTD’s release. I was running Firmware 2.0, with Root Filesystem Access that I managed to ninja, but due to the parental controls system I couldn’t get any custom applications to show up on Springboard.app, most notably Installer. I’ve just restored back to 1.1.4, to test out some of ZodTTD’s new stuff, now that I’m a beta tester.

Thirdly, CoD4. I’ve applied to join [M]inistry clan, they do CoD4 and CS:S on ladders. I’m not as good as them, I’ll take that, but I’d like to be in their clan anyways. They’re in the top 8 of BF2142, so I probably have to buy that. If I fail at getting into [M], I’ll join Joe’s clan. If I can. If I can’t join =ESA=, then there’s a good chance I fail at life.]

Also, boobies. That is all.

Yes, the monthly skill revisions are out. Izzy’s actually done a decent job this time, however, some of my favourite, yet overpowered builds, got crushed.

Conundrum spike is dead. Conundrum now deals the damage on cast if the enemy isn’t under an enchantment, which fails. Many sin skills got nerfed, and Power Leak suffered a minor nerf. Heal Party now casts for 2 seconds, for some insane reason. But here’s the most awesome thing he’s done this month - Wail of Doom.

Yes, the Necro elite is now a very interesting skill. "For 0…4 seconds, all of target foe’s attributes are set to 0". Lol. Should be a fun day in HA.

In other Guild Wars related news, I’ve found how fucking expensive it is to set up my Mesmer for FC nuking. Currently I need:

• +15/-1 Fire Wand
• The Kindlerock
• Armor with Radiant insignias
• Fast Casting headpiece

Ouch. Kindlerock is 7k, and the FC headpiece will be relatively cheap as long as I don’t get the urge to dye it black. So I need like 10k. That’s like 40k of FFF. =fail.

However, I’m nearly at r5 Luxon. And r10 Sunspear, but I can’t be bothered farming SS points, it’s gay. Rusty out.

Mmk. So, I get this new web host. It’s OK, the blog’s going good. Right up until my domain got deleted, I think that might have been the downfall. So I decided to make a new blog (again), with a subdomain 000webhost offer. So I decided to set up at rusty.890m.com, and here it is.

That was all cool. The theme I used before, the green one, was annoying me with it’s high-maintenance setup, so I went theme-looking. This took forever and a half, so I decided to go with the original theme. I had a look at it’s settings, changed the look of the header background, and it was good again.

So this is the first post of the new and hopefully last blog. I’m gonna actually be working on this one, surprisingly.
